I've bought all three books the author has published as of today and I just loved all of them. Each time, I'm immersed in a totally new atmosphere with unique characters and a great plot.This time, Thomas Temple takes us in the cold interrogation room of a police station in Paris, France. Be prepared for deadly cold dialogues in the City of Lights! The characters, with pitbull attitudes, seem to have been extracted from a Tarantino's movie. There is something hell-dark inside of them, even if you can sometime feel like looking at yourself into a mirror. There is that special something with Temple's characters that automatically triggers emotions and empathy.
The story fits into the crime investigation and noir genre and it will satisfy readers with a liking for scientific details and detective work.

The quirky and unique style of these mysteries always makes it a pleasure to read. I'm pretty fed up of the run-of-the-mill cop/bad guy cat and mouse so it's quite refreshing to see a crime story with a different spin. The style is slightly offbeat but always intriguing, and fairly short which makes it much easier to digest. I will watch out for the next Temple novella.

In his new story, Thomas Temple has taken me inside the interrogation room of a Parisian police station. I had never seen one before and I'm not in a hurry to see one first hand. Like in his first book (The tarantulas' trophy award) the dialogues are original, the characters are spot on and the plot is surprising.
Noir and avant-garde, this is an unconventional writer who wields the language with brio.
Thoroughly enjoyed, totally recommend.

No surprises in this short story. Well actually there is one surprise! Charging $$ for it. I don't get it.
As a HUGE fan of the Investigation Discovery channel (a channel dedicated to crime cases) I had to pick up this fiction crime story and see what it was all about. To my surprise, it is very detailed from the beginning and it actually managed to hook me right in. I sometimes compared some of the procedures to past shows I had seen on TV, and the story told here is pretty believable and engaging, overall. If you're a fan of short crime stories or anything related to detective work, give this one a try.
